If it is a show piece we will make your old piece like original, even better.  If your wanting to upgrade the tractor we can accomplish that as well and make a replacement alternator that is 12 volts and even provide the brackets to mount the new alternator in place.  We can also convert your original 6 volt starter to a 12 volt system.

The reason many people do this is the reliability of the 12 volt systems, the ease of charging the battery and the quick start a 12 volt system provides.  Lights are brighter,  and is really about the only thing one needs to change in a 6 to 12 volt conversion.
